San Blas Island Trips & Excursion Questions

  • What Type Of Trips Does Sea San Blas Offer?

    Our trips consist of the following types of trips:


    Day Trips: Best for people who looking to only visit for 1 day or have a limited amount of time to visit. Very popular for large groups, parties & Families. 


    Overnight Trips: Great option if you would like to spend more time on the islands and relax on our amazing beaches. Great for friends, Solo Travelers, Couples and Families.



  • How Many Islands Will We Visit On The Trip?

    Island availability changes every day and varies per trip. Visit our booking page and read more information about our trips to see what they each include.

  • Do You Provide Snorkeling Equipment?

    Some islands provide snorkeling equipment. However, we always recommend customers to bring their own if they have one.


    On other Islands snorkeling equipment is provided during excursions only and is shared with all customers, you can not keep them with you. 

  • What Time Do We Leave The Islands On Our Last Day?

    We usually go back to the port around 3 PM and arrive to the city 6-7PM at night depending on traffic.

  • Do You Offer Day Trips To The San Blas Islands?

  • Do You Offer Trips To Colombia?

    No, at the moment we do not. 

  • Do You Offer Sailing Trips?

    No, at the moment we do not. 

  • Do You Provide An Itinerary?

    Yes, we provide Itineraries. Please visit our booking page and click on the trip you are interested in to see more information about it and its Itinerary.  

  • Can I Extend My Trip Once I Am Already On The Islands?

    Typically, this is not allowed. If you would like to do so, contact us first to see if it's possible. It does not depend on whether the island is fully available because of many other logistical factors. If you change the duration of your trip directly with the island and do not inform us, you will forfeit your return transit. 

  • Is It Possible To Do This Trip With Kids?

    Yes, you can do any of our trips with children.

  • Is It Possible To Do This Trip With Toddlers?

    Yes, it's possible to do our trips with toddlers (0-2) years of age. However, we don't recommend staying for more than 2 nights as it can be very tiring. 



  • Do We Get To Visit The Local Tribe Community Island?

    Yes, you can! Please check out our booking page to see if you can book a trip to the community! 

  • Do People Normally Bring Their Big Luggage There?

    You can bring multiple backpacks, hiking packs, or even coolers. However, each reservation is limited to only 1 (23kg) of luggage.



  • Does The Trip Include Round Trip Transportation From Panama City?

    Yes, it does! All our trips include round-trip transportation from Panama City to the San Blas Islands and back. 

  • What Should I Bring On My Trip?

    ✅Original Passports (No Photo Copies!)

    Without an original authentic passport, you will not be allowed to enter the Guna Yala territory.


    ✅ Cameras⁣

    ✅ Your Own Drinks (Juice, Soda, & Alcohol) are permitted & also sold separately on the islands.

    ✅ Beach Towels & Accessories (Sun Screen)

    ✅ Bathroom Necessities (Shampoo, Conditioner, etc) 

    ✅ Snacks & Drinks (Meals Are Included In Price)

    ✅ You Can Bring Your Own Alcohol :)

    ✅ A Good Adventurous Attitude, Relax You're At San Blas :)

    ✅ Sunglasses & Hats

    ✅ Cash (No ATMs available on islands)

    ✅ GOOD VIBES :)

  • Are There Any Island Rules?

    • Always treat the Gunas with respect
    • Do not disturb other tourists
    • Be aware of your surroundings and clean up
    •  No fireworks, firearms, or weapons are permitted.
