A same-day flight needs a realistic return plan. An estimated arrival in Panama City is not an airport check-in time, and a morning island departure does not guarantee a particular flight connection.

Work backward from your airline's check-in and baggage deadlines. Allow for the airport journey, any luggage collection and delays on the sea and road stages. There is no single buffer that suits every island, departure and flight.

For a less rushed itinerary, return to the city the day before you fly. You gain an evening to reorganize your bags and avoid placing the island transfer immediately before a fixed departure. If a delay develops, contact our team and your airline promptly. Ask what arrangements are available, tell your city accommodation if your arrival changes, and retain your booking messages.
